FIFA rejects Chile’s request, and Ecuador remains in the Qatar World Cup

The International Football Federation (FIFA) ruled out, this Friday (10), ending the process against player Byron Castillo, who confirmed his participation in the next World Cup for the Ecuadorian team, led by coach Gustavo Alfaro.

“After reviewing the allegations of all parties involved and considering all the elements provided, the FIFA Disciplinary Commission has decided to terminate the proceedings initiated against the FEF (by the Ecuadorian Football Federation),” FIFA said in a statement.
